As part of the Eastern Region Roller Derby Smack Down (the first ever being held in September 2010, between leagues in NSW WIRD, WSR, SRDL & CRDL battling it out for glory).
More leagues have now joined forces and The Ladies of the ERRD have come together for the first “Booty Boot Camp” hosted by WSR, with the support of WIRD, SRDL, NRDL, and participation of SWSR, CRDL & MARD
the organising leagues brought together some of the finest ladies and men from around Oz the teach the New South Welsh ladies some new skills, tricks and strategies to take back home to our leagues
With the likes of the amazing Vaderella from ADRD,
Kitty DeCapitate, Bezerker and Rocky Rouge from VRDL
Mick and Mark from SSRG
Along with the help of many Refs and NSO’s the booty camp and Flood Relief Bout was a huge success;
As part of the booty camp, the special guest’s where invited to select a bunch of girls from the various leagues to skate in the Saturday night bout “Flood Relief on the Flat Track”
With proceeds of the ticket sales going to the unfortunate victims of the floods.
SWSR would like to send a heart felt hug to all those who have been effected by the floods, in QLD, VIC and TAS, we hope you all get back on your feet really soon x
